shredder opinion?

We bought some land and now i need a shredder. Tractor is 2555 Mahindra (55hp) so getting a 6'. The land is Texas Piney woods that was mostly logged last year. So I wont be mowing pastures, but keeping areas where we hunt mowed down and trails. Mostly weeds with the whatever shrubs that may try to grow as well. I was looking at a new Titan Implements 1206 (55hp gearbox, 1.5" capable) for about $1500. Seems every used shredder around here goes for close to a new price or is rusted out/beat. Then i found a used Rhino tw72 for about the same price. Cant find specs on the rhino, but it seems a little heavier duty. While i wont be clearing land with it, since our place was recently logged theres a decent amount of logging slash on the ground that will probably get hit the first couple times i mow. Thoughts? Always a concern buying someones shredder to me. Other options welcome. Budget is really about 1500...maybe 2K if i had to

If that Rhino is in good shape, I would choose that one. They are very good shredders.

I run a mahindra 6 ft cutter behind my 2538 and it works great. Depending on the model K5iwq is right ,the rhino is a very good cutter. The titan is about the same as my mahindra which is made by grizzly.

I ran into the same issue when I was looking for one last year. I was on craigslist, equipmenttrader, tractorhouse, etc.

I'd reach out to Four Brothers Outdoor Power | Dallas, TX | Equip Dealership They have pretty good prices and can negotiate some, that's where I ended up getting a new BH215.
You would want a BH216 or 316 or higher for your tractor.
