Cary,
That is what the tech. thinks. The regional rep. is coming out Tuesday to look at that and the post hole digger problem too.
Took a while, but I feel like Kubota / dealer is trying to make it right.
Glad to hear yours worked out so well.

Sure is a pain that you have to go through this hassle, but based on my emails with the gentleman in Lodi, I think that Kubota will make it right. Keep us posted.

Once you get everything ironed out I believe you will really be impressed. After using mine for a few weeks now, I couldn't be happier with the way the Shuttle Shift works. I must admit though that after 12 years of using a clutch operated Shuttle Shift, it is sometimes hard not to hit the foot clutch and I am still definitely in the learning curve with my tractor.

Had the regional service rep. & mechanic out Tuesday. After 4 hrs of working on the hydraulics, I finally got it to fail in front of them. They determined that I only have 100 psi going to the clutch packs, but 300 psi going into the modulator.
So now I am waiting for a new Shuttle Shift Modulator.
And to top it all off I am also concerned about the damage done to the clutch packs.

TripleR - don't feel alone, even after 187 hrs on the tractor, I still push in the clutch when I don't need to.

I've been real busy building a house and missed your post. I to have some concern as to my clutch packs. I'm hoping that they being wet has prevented any premature wear. I believe the shuttle modulator is what was changed on mine also. When you need to inch the machine foward or backwards I don't see any way around using the clutch.

About 3 weeks ago the mechanic came out and replaced the shuttle shift module, what a difference! I didn't want to post anything until I had a chance to test it, which I did.
I can not get it to fail !!!
Thank you everyone, especially Cary for guiding me to the right person at Kubota Corperation.

Glad to hear that your tractor is right now. I've been bush hogging again to knock the weeds down in the pasture before they go to seed and it sure is nice doing it with a good running machine. Enjoy.
