actually 3 grand would be on the upper edge of a residential version and probably low low end of commerical/high end residental version. With that said that zero turn would out mow that pull behind by twice considering we arent talking about mowing 50 acres here. It will also do it with less gas and maint then the tractor pulling that pull behind.

No its not. $3000 zero turns are the lower end residential mowers.
Upper end residential are $5-6000
Most commercial start at around $6000 and up.

You didn't buy the extended 5 year warranty on the starter cause when you get those it will fail at 5.1 years but now we get to rant again in 90 days when this one acts up.

since you are familiar with the ford/new hollands, you could look for a GT75/85/95 the 85/95 are the gasser versions 18/20 hp or you could find the next gen, still same hydro/chassis but gasser only - GT18/20/22 with NH on the side instead of ford.
