We had Directv at two houses and also pulled plug last year. Always worked fine just not enough worthwhile TV programs. Dont miss it should have done it earlier.

I lost all our Off The Air Programming, one by one. So I took my antenna down.
Then by chance I heard of a program from SHAW. They had made a deal with the governemt that they had to offer replacement FREE satalite service for local programming to a certain number of homes. I managed to get in on this. Beats the heck out of a VHF/UHF antenna.
But there still isn't really anything to watch anyway! Unless the whole Ukrain blows up, I guess!
