I will be looking for a sickle bar within the next two weeks, in fact will probable get one at a upcoming auction. I am in need of recommendations on make to purchase. I do know that i want a belt driven one. Make model no will be appreciated. It will be used on a B7800 30 HP kubota. [/list] [/list] [/list]

I've surfed & searched the net a lot before and haven't been able to see better than this price $995. If this http://www.ccmachinery.com/compact.htm has the Busatis knives, it means that it's certainly not a cheap quality. Otherwise, cheaper knife would be used. That price for that quality is certainly very good in its category, single bar sickle mower category.

It is amazing you have not heard of Busatis before now. The company was founded in 1888. Check out their website http://www.busatis.at Claas and New Holland use their cutterbars.
