I need to grade a property that abutts a farm field. The house is on a high spot tapering down to level grade all the way around. THere is a slight lip to prevent field water from coming onto the property. SO....
I need to work across this slight hill, at the bottom where that lip is, without destroying it or gouging out a line with the bottom edge of the box.
Is this where you would adjust the side attatchments of the 3 point to angle the box itself? I also come across similar situations with septic systems. Need to grade, but keep the the tapering.
New to this, but getting wet /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Any help is greatly apprecitated! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I've done similar work by shortening one of the draft arm links and it worked pretty well. My work involved cutting a walking path into the side of a hill. As I mentioned earlier, it worked well, but it really would have been nice to have a hydraulic link. That would have mede the adjustments much easier!

just to be sure........if the right side is the low side I would shorten the LEFT side arm???????????
If I end up getting enough grading work I'm sure I'll have all hydraulics if not a power rake. The tractor has one set of remotes so I'd like a hyd top link first. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
