NEVAH!! (Proclaimed loudly with finger in the air and cape blowing in the wind)

This weekend, I came to the conclusion that the stone steps next to the wall had to go - they were just too uneven to walk down w/o falling to your death every time. I spent this past weekend tearing them up and rebuilding them with a constant 5" rise, 13-14" run. Try to find flat rocks that are exactly 5" thick someday - yeesh.

Man, I thought I got tired building the retaining wall...how bad could a half-dozen stone steps be? It was brutal - those rocks are HEAVY, and there is way too much test fitting and re-seating. By 4 o'clock on Sunday, I literally couldn't lift a beer can. I did manage to finish them though (somehow).

Honestly, after not even leaving myself with the energy to lift a beer can, what makes you think I could've lifted a camera, even if I wanted to?
