No snow here in Edmonton, but all the slopes are open in both Banff and Jasper. The skiing is ok but the packed base is lower than normal. I'm still hoping to at least get to Marmot.
What are you doing in Edmonton? I thought you were south of Calgary?
I like Marmot ... but flying into Calgary and having my pick of of Sunshine, Louise or Banff makes more sense.
We have so little snow here that I haven't winterized my Wing yet and haven't bothered to move the snowmobile from the back of the garage .... sigh ....

No, I live just south east of Edmonton (20min). Calgary is only a 2 1/2 hour drive, so if we want to do Banff, it is a pretty quick trip also.
My snowmobile has been fired up once this year...so I could move it. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif We need some serious moisture or this summer will be dreadful here!
and here all this time I though you were a Southerner!
We bought a new touring snowmobile just before we left Canada (coming up to 5 years) and it has ALMOST 50 miles on it! ... 35 of which I put on just before we moved.
Think I'll have to put it on the trailer or in the truck and take it up to the U.P. ... just to get the odometer oiver the 50 mile point!
