I don't know anything about the M4800 but the MX5000 seems to be a very similar concept just with a little better specs at a slightly higher price. A little beefier and a little stronger all the way around. Just taking a quick look at the website, the 4800 appears to have higher 3pt capacities than the 5000.

George the M4800 is a full size AG tractor it is basically like the 4000 but in the full size category. It is the stripped down version like the 4400.

I think they list somewhere around 17,000 to 18,000 without a loader.

I got a price on one a few years ago before I bought the 4400. I did not pay alot of attention to it, I had been after a M4900 the first go around.

Congrats!! You will love her! I have the same setup, But I had to get the ATI parts myselfbecause my dealer was lazy.... I also added 2 rear wheel weights on each side, big difference. I have a wood furnace, and use pallet forks to move logs, so I needed the weights badly!!

It's finally ready to be delivered. He said he'd be here 08:00 tomorrow AM. Took a while for the correct ATI plate to come in (has gotten the incorrect one first time around). I did inspect it today at the dealer and it looks good. promised a full tank of fuel on delivery as well.
