We had mild temps last week, and my grass was greening up. Then it dropped 60 degrees in 24 hours and we got 4" of snow! I don't even know what to think at this point. Rumor of another possible winter storm on March 12 or so...

Yesterday morning I caught about 6 robins in the back yard with one claiming his territory eating the grass seed I put out last fall. We had another 12 degree night on Monday which is epic for this area

White grass you say? With two feet of snow atop it, how do you even know what color it is?

i saw some of my grass the other day,, while snowblowing a path to the shop. i tend to
get a little in the blower and it flies with the snow. but it's brown, and frozen. local
temps around here this am were 5-7 below 0. i did take the snowmobile for a ride last nite,
and conditions are about the best you can get. groomed, HARD packed trails and any/all
water spots are frozen over and out of sight for now. tomorrow we may go above freezing,
maybe Saturday too, it will feel good!
but no major warmup in the forecast, and Saturday the clocks go ahead already, that is going
to be weird with all the snow on the ground and having daylight till 7:30 at nite......

Peach tree was blooming, but then it snowed and everything turned to ice over the weekend.

Nice picture Eddy. Our pear trees are in full bloom. I know we will get more cold, so there is a good chance there won't be many pears this year.
