Signs of Spring

Milton, I'm jealous of your daffodils. The deer kept ours trimmed despite my wife covering them at night. We can't seem to have open-bedded flowers without running electrical wires.

We bought a dozen tomato sets yesterday. They are only $0.99 each or $11 Per flat of 12. I can't grow them that cheaply. We got early girls, BHN 602s (a Texas A&M hydbrid) and BHN 444, also a dry/hot weather hybrid. Both of the hybrids are hot weather tolerant and will set fruit above 95 degrees. We need that. With my shade cloth, they do great in my garden.

I agree it would be difficult to grow plants for that price. Interested in your BHN varieties. I researched and studied tomato plants a couple years back to find varieties that could withstand Southern Bacterial Wilt. Varieties I tried were Neptune, Kewalo, Florida 7514 and one of the BHN numbers, but I will have to research to figure which one. I want to know how yours do.
