Not to hijack the thread, but I just got myself an early Christmas present - 2x20 Monarch scope for handgun.
I mounted it on my SW 22A for target practice and now it is completely different animal. Lot of fun to shoot. The long term plan is to get a SA Ruger revolver and use it for hunting, but that's in the future, as of now I am trying to improve my handgun shooting. It is hard to believe, how much my hand shakes when magnified two times
I was really debating between red dot and a scope, decided against red dot - I prefer to use things that do not have batteries inside.
