You ain't seen nuthin' until you fire up a corn chopper at 6:00 a.m.

6am wouldn't be too bad around here. My neighbors have gotten up and are getting ready to go to work by then. But then, that is about the time that I go to bed./w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

He would be up all hours of the night.

I know that feeling. When I first moved to NC, I rented a house that sat out on the end of a knoll. Right on the end of it. Down below me, about 100yd straight down was my neighbors garden. About two acres. He only worked in it at night. He started out in early spring plowing with a mule. I could hear it every time the plow hit a rock. All night long. Then it got really good. He used a tiller without a muffler for the next month or so. No muffler but some how he had a headlight rigged up on it. I worked days back then and got very little sleep. Strange thing is,, when he was finished gardening it was so quiet that I could hardly get to sleep. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif I guess that I kind of got used to the noise every night.

Ed,

Same drill.
I wonder if they would even notice that!
