Simp or Deere?

1*I see you trolling all these forums and pushing Kubota all the time.
2*You may love your Japanese product.
3*Why are you pushing it on so many different forums here?
4*This guy was asking about Simplicity or Deere.
~~~~~~~~~~
1*It's not trolling .
It's just giving my input just like you and anybody else here.
2*It's not brand against brand.
It's comparing garden tractors with sub compact tractors.
3*Because I believe when someone is getting into almost as much money or the same or more money for a garden tractor as that for a subcompact that person deserves to have that information and is entitled to make his buying decision based on his comparing the 2 possibilities because in many cases that person would be better severed by going with a subcompact over a garden tractor.
BTW the way I post with the buyers interest in mind rather than is my post going to be acceptable to you or other readers.
4*He sure was but that don't mean what I posted isn't important and or beneficial to him!
The Simplicity is shaft drive.
How is the x540 driven?
One important fact that has been disregarded in this discussion is the misstatement that the Simplicity Prestige (one of the subjects of the original poster's question) is shaft drive, it isn't. It is belt drive just like the JD X500 series. I have its bright red cousin and can vouch for the fact that the Prestige is a great mower, but I live in the south and if we get any snow everything shuts down so I can't tell you how it does pushing snow.
LB,
Couldn't find a hydraulic angle for the BX on Kubota's website. Could've over looked it. That's all I was saying. Your response is a tad condescending, my friend.
Is your blade Kubota brand? Is it still available? Want be helpful? Tell the guy about what blades are available for purchase today for the BX's and how they attach/operate.
1*The way I understand it the 54'' blade is Manual angle only and is for the BX1500 BX1830 & BX1850.
The 60'' blade is Hydraulic angle and is for the BX2230 BX2350 BX23 and BX24 but it will also work just fine on the BX1500 BX1830 and BX1850.
2*Either that or they have it but don't list it on the site.
3*Didn't intend it to be. sorry
4*Yes It Is.The model number is BX 2763 A.
Here is a link to a picture of One of just exactly like mine.http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...42050-bx-front-power-angle-blade-dsc01821.jpg
5*I bought it new back in November and have no reason to think it's no longer available or any evidence indicating it's been discontinued.
6*I thought I did that with this statement. --->I bought a new Kubota 60'' hydraulic lift and hydraulic angle front blade for my BX1500 last Nov.
It will also fit my BX23 or any and all of the other BX models.
PS there are many threads and lots of post on the board about BX front blades.
