I often get in trouble for cleaning latex paint brush in her kitchen sink as well...but now I have a sink in the garage. Come to think of it she might be planning to get me a cot out there for a more permanent relocation. Who could be unhappy surrounded by tools anyway!

Just don't get caught cleaning engine parts in the dishwasher! Sure works well though.

I have definitely considered that one more than once. One of these days I'll get an old running dishwasher and set it up in the shop.

Once I did use the oven to bake some ceramic paint onto a set of engine headers while she was away. I did not get caught

I've found the dishwasher worked really well to clean snowmobile clutches. I've also used my wife's crock pot to heat water and gallon jugs of oil based rust proofing so it would spray easier. Worked like a charm.

I had a friend who used his wife's stove and pots to boil the flesh off deer skulls. That worked well ... until his wife caught him at it.

We are putting in a dog wash tub in our mudroom for this very reason; as much to wash the dog as it is to clean up paint brushes, use mops, and heat up cans of tire sealer! (LOL)

As for my Domestic Supervisor (wife), that is what I call her. (LOL)

The dog tub is on my list this summer as I plan my addition, also a shower stall so that I don't need to track through the house when I'm wet, muddy, greasy, or all of the above.
