I had a big collection of genuine made in USA Irwin vice grips...

I'll buy some discount store ones for this.

Posting things into here from outside the EU doesn't work well. Things get stuck in customs for a long time, and then the taxes are around 50%, even the shipping cost is taxed.

They seem to be a domestic Portuguese transport company. So no, I haven't tried them.
For this sort of thing I'll use cheapo grips from an area DIY store, ebay Spain, or Amazon.

For $9.99 I am not going to destroy my heavy duty Irwin Vise Grip welding clamp pliers.
On Thursday (19th) or earlier, I'll stop by HF and pick up a cheap set so I can either modify or destroy them, and then loose them in the bushes.
I'll spray them with Day-Glo ..... maybe that will help!
