Just a little peek?

Ooh! Nice butts(tocks).

Such guns are like tuxedos. My bluejeans gun is a Ruger 10/22 in stainless steel with a plain birch stock.

I think my all around farm gun would be this one, it's a Tikka 12ga. Over a .222.

I have a smaller Liberty safe.

View attachment 276341

This one is holds about 30 long guns with plenty of shelving for pistols, ammo and other goodies. It wasn't top of the line, but has 1.5 hour fire protection and weighs upwards of half ton or so. I have it set up with a light kit that comes on when it's opened.

Sorry no peeking inside.

I have had it for 10 years, and it was around a grand when I bought it on sale from my lock smith.

Very nice looking! You do not see many side by sides now. Everything is over under!

Yes those side by sides are gorgeous. Hope to have one some day. That said, the Italian O/U I purchased is pretty darn fine as well :) Currently with a gunsmith who is changing the stock to an adjustable comb. Will post pictures when it arrives back.

I think a person could "get by" with a single handgun, shotgun, and rifle, but I can't see any single gun working as well as those three.

But like potato chips I can't have just 3... :D

If you don't get vaccinated before your first gun purchase...well, you are infected. My favorite rifles are my Weatherby's. Have a .270 and .340. That .270 has taken more deer and wild boar than anything else I own combined. Just a Vanguard too. The .340 is a Mark V, has a stainless barrel with a factory brake and topped with a Nickle Leupold 3x10 VariXIII. Have a Ruger Red label O/U 12 gauge and the creme of the crop, a Merkel 147 E Boxlock SXS 12 gauge. Have my Ruger 10/22 of course, a Sako Finnlight 7mm mag for my elk trips, a Ruger Mini-14 because someone gave it to me, my Beretta 96 in 40SW and my Springfield XD-45. Oh, almost forgot my Ruger 77 Varmit with heavy barrel in stainless, .22-250 with a Burris Black Diamond 6x24 milldot. Now that gun can reach out and touch something within an inch a long ways off..
Oh yeah, and a Liberty safe bolted to the concrete floor so they stay where they belong.

I had a 22CHetah wildcat Remington 700 24 power redfield (the old American made redfeild ) could predict which eye on a ground hog at 200 yards. a local scum bucket thief out on parole stole it.

pops just won a Marlin XL7 .270 at a QDMA function and I've put a few rounds through it so far. Crappy scope, but gun shoots pretty well. I think it retails for only $360 or so USD.

Will probably put a $200 Redfield scope on it and call it a day.
