Single vs Double acting hydraulic cylinder.

I currently have 1 set of remotes on my tractor, 2 hoses, if using 2 single acting cylinders, would each hose would go to a separate cylinder? this is my thinking.... I am also a novice when it comes to hydraulics. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
