I agree, I believe a person would be pretty dissatisfied with a 25hp tractor and a 6' disc harrow.

If you choose a disc get a heavy set for anything other than sandy soil. Light discs just roll over the top without much penetration. By the time you add enough weight to make it dig in the tractor will really be working.

I’m seeing so many people talk about speed, but I thought how aggressive the disk angles are is a bigger factor on how it turns earth and power required.

So 25 hp (hydro?): How heavy? Maybe 4’?
