I just did my 900 hr. service, and took off the skid plate to service the tractor. As such I got out the tape measure. I am going to try sending a dimension sketch and more pictures of the skid plate.
As I have said in previous posts, make a cardboard templete as a pattern so you can tweek it to fit your tractor.
I have been using this for 2 1/2 years without any problems. (except one expensive one /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif)
Do a search for "Bullet Proof BX" in this forum for the whole story.
Also, I used old firehose as cushioning under the front axle & rear transaxle. A chainlink & turnbuckle hold the rear plate tight to the transaxle.
If you have a angle grinder and welder, it's a fairly easy project.
