puckboard is showing as hdpe. Is it like a 4 x8 sheet of plastic similar to Jerry cans?

Yup it comes in 4x8 sheets just google it

Pretty good. I was looking for large sheets. suppose you can plastic weld some boxes and such if you like with it. If its the same as the jerry can stuff, that is also the same those argo bodys are made of and you could make skid plates or patches with it. Is it expensive per 4x8 sheet?

Vsquared - those pics in post #6. It would appear that the underside is most likely protected from everything.

Still have not received my prices yet. I am in the process right now of talking to a contractor I work with that has some used dump truck liners kicking around that they have had to replace. Would this work or be the same as puck board...it seems to look the same. Hopefully I hear back from them sometime today.

Two weeks in a row the 4wd lever linkages have come apart under my CX2510 in high weeds. Going to have to start carrying extra washers and cotter pins with me. Definitely now thinking about a skid plate of some kind.

I re-built a bush hog one time and sold it to a guy for $450. Three years later I got word that it was for sale, so I inquired as to the price. He wanted $500 for it after abusing it on a deer lease for 3 years according to the guy telling me about it. I reminded him that he only paid $450 for it, and the guy said... Yeah but now it comes with the tractor! I didn't need a Duetz 6005 so I stripped the floor pan off it and hydraulic top link off and send it down the road. I still have the brush hog.
That floor pan was made out of 1/2" plate, but considering what he was doing with it, and the weight of the tractor, it was about right. Consider the weight of the tractor and what would happen if you high centered a stump or a big rock. Will a lighter built skid pan hold the tractor weight or is it going to bend into the bottom of your tractor? (yes a light duty one is better than nothing!) My Kubota M7040 got a root shoved up into the right rear area and did a bunch of damage before I could stop the tractor!
