Does anybody have any links to various skid steer attachment manufacturers/fabracators?

Thanks,

Jim

Grumpa,

Thanks, but they don't make dozer blades for tractors. I did check them before based on one of your prior posts. Too bad, it looks like they make some quality implements. Maybe I'll call them and see if they can make one for me....I need to look around first.

Hi Jim,

Are you going to put a dozer blade on your fel to push dirt on your road building project?

Thinking about it....Kubota's site shows a blade pushing gravel. Maybe there's better ways, but it looks like a nice way to move earth, gravel and snow.

Hello just came across your search…
If you do a search on Ebay for item 3838276987. I’m not sure how to post a link /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Check this sellers other auctions… This company has front blades from $800 to over $3000. Depends what you are needing.

I started to order one. Then last summer I located an eight foot rear mount blade that had a damaged 3pt. mount. I removed the blade and just pinch it in my 4n1 bucket. I can’t angle the blade but with the loader curl I can tilt. It makes a great straight dozer if I keep material from getting to deep, my 4n1 will get in the way.

You do have somewhat limited visibility with a front mounted blade on a tractor, compared to a skid steer, But you will get the feel for it. If you do get one… especially if you get a 4 or 6 way… Please post back with your experience with it.
Good luck, KennyV

If you're using a 4n1, what are you gaining by pinching a straight blade in the bucket?

The straight blade gives me more width for light grading. If I am wanting a LOT more width I can grab a length of RR rail and do the same thing.

For any heavy dozing you are right the 4n1 has a great dozer blade. KennyV
