Hey Guys - I have an older Scat Trak 1350 skid steer and no manual. On top of the loader frame at about your knee on both sides when you're in the seat are flat about 7/16" thick maybe 2" x 6" plates through bolted with 3 - 1/2 in bolts into the horizontal top of the frame over what I think are the front wheel mounts and drive chain housing. The ends of the bolts face out with nuts on the outside. There is a threaded rod welded to the front of each plate running toward the front of the machine with a stop nut into a tab welded to the frame which I think is to adjust the position of the plate. The right side plate is loose and the middle bolt is missing and the plate seems to be held only by the adj rod because the 2 remaining bolts are loose.
I just know I shouldn't ignore it!
Anyone know what they are and if I can take the plate off to replace the bolt without screwing up?? Anybody with a manual on this??
