Skid Steer Quick Hitch or Quick Attach

Just like 40K chicks says they are two different things. The new Grand L Series, which I bought and you have the brochure of are the new "Quick Hitch". Not the same as "Quick Couple". That "Quick Couple" is on a Kubota 2910 not a Grand L Series 3130.

The Quick Coupler is/was available for several different sized tractors. The smallest was the B27-2910 sized tractors. It also fit the L3110 FEL. I may be wrong here, but I believe it will fit the smaller loader for the L3130. If you do not need the Quick Attach feature that allows Skid Steer attachments to fit a FEL then consider the Quick Coupler option. I do not know how large a Grande L FEL it will fit.

I suppose the Kubota style Quick connect would be okay if you just wanted to drop the bucket ocassionally like when mowing. The Skid Steer Quick attach has become so universal that I would think it has obsoleted the Kubota system. I have the Skid Steer Quick attach on my tow New Hollands and love it. One is factory and the other is ATI.

On a small CUT like my B2910 the Quick Hitch would work great without any modification or added plates to a standard <font color="orange"> Kubota </font> FEL and bucket.

The Quick Hitch weighs about 60 pounds.

The manual for the Quick Hitch say it is designed for a LA852 Loader.

If I were buying a larger tractor, I would go for the Skid Loader style hitch.

I traded my L4310HSTC tractor for a new L5030HSTC mainly for increased loader power. The L4310HSTC loader was okay if you are going to move loose material, but was definitely too weak for anything that was not loose. I've owned 9 different tractors with loaders and have thousands of hours seat time using a FEL. I'd strongly advise using the tractor and FEL you are looking to buy first to try to do the work you intend to do. Otherwise, you may be like me. I had a tractor for over a year that I had to take "baby bites" with the FEL due to lack of power.
