Skid Steer-type quick release buckets

Yes, I think that's the same knob. I seem to remember them calling it a knob from a Quickie Loader.

How do you like yours.....

Thanks,

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, unfortunately. We're still waiting on the FEL. What grapple did you get?

By all means invest in the Kubota Quick Attach System. I can remember when the Bobcat Company introduced the Bobtach Quick Attach System back in the late '60s. It was a superior system then and now the standard on most compact industrial and ag equipment. Even John Deere has come around on their skidloaders.

If you invest in even one loader attachment, you will be glad you have the quick attach.

Roando

I purchase my grapple from Skid Steer Solutions. Their grapple is made different than most. The lower fingers are hard steel with NO gussets so it doesn't pick up as much dirt. Their top is all one pc and opens real wide. Give them a call and let Rob tell you a little more about the ANB Grapple.

I've been using mine on my Skid Steer Loader and it's a BEAST......

My dealer quoted $390 to upgrade to the quick connect. Does this sound right?

My new total for L3130 with 723 Loader, Upgraded Bucket, R4's, and quick connect is $19,340.

Other add-ons:
72" Box Blade - $495
Canopy - $350
Doc/Filing Fee - $80
I may also get the Kubota insurance because the tractor may not be covered under my homeowners. I'm looking at options at this time.

Total out the door = $20,265

Does this sound like a good deal?

The number of remotes you need depend on several factors. I preferred having remotes over an electric diverter valve. It is an over all cleaner installation.

On my tractor remote #1 is used for the hydraulic top link. Remote #2 will be used for a hydraulic tilt link (when I add one) or to rotate the tree shear. It is "tee'd" to front and rear. Remote #3 goes to the front and is used to operate the grapple or to operate the shear. It seems a bit elaborate but it works well for me and is worth the extra cost.

Using remote #2 for two functions is easy - just unplug the hoses you don't want pressured.

When I bought last July the 3 remotes cost me $1325 when installed with the tractor make ready. The first one would have been about $650-700.

Thanks for the grapple link.

But if you have one hand on the steering wheel and on on the joy stick to the FEL where does the third hand come from that is needed to pull the remote lever on the same side as the FEL joy stick. Maybe you have something set up different but if not it would seem to be cumbersome to operate a grapple on the FEL?

Thanks,

Vernon,
Do you know of any hydraulic latching mechanism for the Kubota's QA systems??? That would be nice not having to get out of the seat to latch the handles /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
