Skidding Cedar trees with my FEL?

Thanks Randall for picking up my Glitch.
I ordered one of these and received it a few days ago. Appears to be well made, looking forward to skidding out some large Tamarack that I dropped last fall (another 2 months before the snow will be gone around here). If anyone is interested I can post the cost, etc.

DRAWBAR IS DESIGNED TO PULL THINGS AND MUCH PREFERRED, AS STATED BY OTHERS. But if you want to use your loader to pull things (anything) have somebody weld a good sized "D ring" directly in the center, from side to side and in the flat back plate of the loader bucket. You'll be able to pull cleanly without stressing one loader arm more than the other. I use the D ring on my machine much more than the chain hooks on the sides of the bucket. Side mounted chain hooks are good for lifting some things, like implements into a pick-up bed, but not for everything. It's too difficult to evenly load each hook if you're pulling something heavy that's moving around a lot AND it's probably not the safest thing to be doing. Remember to keep the bucket low if you start to use a D ring regularly and dont' try to pull too much at one time (no "lazy mans loads").

I have a very similar setup for the B7100. I load the bucket with rocks and being able to put downpressure on the rear tires with the three point it's quite astonishing what can be pulled.

Thanks, guys I like the middle ring idea. Bought a 3pt logging winch for logging.

Well, not having a FEL on the B6000, there has been a time or two when I was to lazy to run back down to the barn to get some more weights so I asked my wife to sit on the hood!!!!

I am always amazed at what these low HP, little tractors can do.
Please don't tell the safety police!
