Bill welcome to the TBN site.

I hear tell if you raise the loader, curl the bucket back, and cover it with a blanket, that it makes a neat little couch where you can sleep. And just look at all the money you saved on the furniture you were also needing for the garage. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My wife had a couple of magnetic signs made for my pole barn that read "spousal avoidance unit" I'm still trying to figure out where she came up with that one.

NJ isn't a bad place to be from. Some great people have come from Morris County NJ.... I lived in Ironia/Succasunna (Morris County) when I was a kid. I believe that we had some of the finest, largest, meanest, mosquito's living with us.... I still can remember riding my bike up the steep hill to Crowley's General Store on the Dover Chester Road, diagonally across from the fire station to get a ice cream cone. It was always fun riding down the hill to get back home.... 2 hours to get there and about 20 minutes back... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
****..... I hate when posts like this come up, because it reminds me of how old I have become and how long ago it has been since we were young and foolish. I went back to the old family home 20 years ago and drove right by the house. It had changed so much along with the "neighborhood"... a few houses on a dirt road that was now paved and filled with new homes.... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Welcome,

I guess I got it good, she decided that 'we' needed a tractor and it was her idea to build the shop, move into it and then build the house. I get toys a shop and sometime she will get a house.

We just did 90 holes to plants trees and bushes, she thought that the tractor was worth every penny already.

Congratulations on the new purchase. I bought my BX23 last summer and for the same reasons that you bought yours. I have almost 200 hours on it now and it has been more useful than I imagined. We really got dumped on this past winter and using the tractor to clear the driveway off has given me a whole new perspective on snow. Instead of dreading it like I used to I now look forward to getting 24" in a day because it means I get to go out and use the tractor /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. My biggest regret with the tractor is that I don't have more land to work with. Once I am done with all the projects around here the tractor won't have much to do other than occasional mowing - and with 1/2 acre that won't last too long.

Junk nothing really has changed, just our method of travel. Both you and I would most likely now drive our tractors to get the ice cream.

Welcome and don't worry about sleeping in the garage, spring is amost here and besides, she'll forgive you eventually. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only thing is .... don't give her the opportunity to play with it. She may decide she likes it and then it'll be inside and you'll still be in the garage. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Even worse, when she sees that the BX can do all the grunt work that she needed a big strong man to do and do it faster, with no complaing, no meals, no laundry or any of that other stuff .... look out. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Be very, very careful. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Enjoy your new "tool". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
