The CC factory hitch does look heavier but it doesn't mount the way I assumed it would. No problem, it's just different than I thought it would be. It's nice that it provides a new fixed hitch point too.
I have welding and fabrication equipment but the problem is always finding small quantities of the needed steel to build anything. Everyone will sell you long lenghts of tubing and large sheets of plate but it's hard to buy small pieces.
Does anyone have the manufacturers P/N for the electric actuators used on either hitch? They also look like their different between the hitches.
