\"slip-clutch\" for 3pt snowblower

Wondering if there exists a mechanical device that would "disengage" the PTO from turning the snowblower drive shaft before the shear point of the shear pin(s) on the shaft. Something that would interface between the PTO & snowblower. The shear pins would be the back-up safety in case this slip device should malfunction.

I'm not sure what you're asking...if the slip-clutch does it's job...the shear bolt would be redundant, unless the slip clutch was not adjusted correctly or was frozen (by rust, perhaps).

However, if the slip-clutch is maintained, it will do it's job.
