Was cutting some heavy brush with bushhog and noticed it smoking. I have since took the clutch apart and noticed the plates are wore pretty bad. Also looks like a brass ring of sorts has also broke apart inside. I don't know the make of the bushhog. Has anyone replace these plates and where did u find them? Thanks for any info!

Probably more people would be able to help you, if you was to post a pic of the bush hog.

That clutch looks just like the clutch on my Howse, although the friction linings are different. I got replacement linings from Ken Sweet and fit perfectly. They were listed as
6 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1/8" but were actually 6 x 2 5/8 x 1/8" which was just what I was looking for. I wonder if the brass pieces were spacers to hold the linings centered?
Howse's site only listed the driveline complete for $272. No separate parts for the clutch. I tried contacting Howse via their e-mail twice and got no response. Why does a company list contact information and then ignore it? Anyway, measure you're clutch and see if those would work for you too. Sweet Tractors part #7805. 1-270-528-3323. Hope that helps.
