Slip on grapple for forks

Looking for advice on adding a grapple to a sturdy set of forks I have. I have a buddy who can weld, cut steel, etc. and was thinking of going with The Thumb, or something like it. It will be used for moving brush and occasionally logs on a 32 acre farmette.

However it looks like the back plate might need to be cut.

Anyone have any experience with either of the slip on ones in the links below? The unit basically just slips on.

Any downside to the slip on ones that anyone an think of? Does anyone know anything about the reputation of the two companies?

Sorry, meant to put in the post that the two slip on companies I found are Wikco and Precision.

No experience but I really like the middle one! US$1000 also looks to be a reasonable price.

Here is my setup on my Kubota B26:

I have these forks:Walco Equipment | Agriculture, Lawn & Garden, Ontario, Walco - Bale Spears and Pallet Forks - Renegade

And this log grapple:Cotech

I had to do some cutting on the back stop of the pallet forks to make the grapple fit. I like the bolt on design more than the slip on because I can still adjust the fork width and the load can still go all the way to the back stop. I didn't have a chance to use it yet because I still need to do some DIY third function plumbing using rear remote.
