Earlier this spring, several people were going to test the brush on version of slip plate on the bottom of their mower deck to see how well it stayed put and cleane d up. I was kinda wonderin how that testing went and what your verdict was..... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks!

I got a deal on a dented gal. can at TSC last fall for $11.00! I cleaned the deck and brushed on two coats last fall before I hung the deck up for the winter. this spring the slip-plate was quite hard! so I burnished the bottom and have been using it all season. I don't seem to have the big build-up that I have had in the past. The slip-plate has worn off in some spots, but has held up in others and has done its job. So I will do it again this fall when I put the deck away for the winter. I still have over 3/4 of a gal. so I quess I'll use it up in the next three years! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hello,
I tried it this spring, and I can honestly say that it wasn't worth the time and energy it took to apply it. It did help a little, but not enough to go through that again.
Your results may vary.
