Dean isn't in very good shape now, but he will still answer emails if you need help.
I don't know if MF still has 231 manuals for sale or not but their manuals are much better than any after market ones that I have seen. They are priced better than other OEMs also. You might check to see if they still have them

AGCO still has manuals (owners/service/parts) for 100 series and 200 series. I'd bet the ranch they still have 'em for newer models. Another source for REPRINTS of original manuals is Tractor Manuals and Collectible Toy Tractors - Jensales

231S, I've had that same model for a little over 6 years. The service manual is the same for the 231 and the s series. I think my service manual even covers the 241. Mine cost somewhere around $70 from a MF dealer. I'm not near it but when I can I'll check the clutch adjustment. All I've ever done or needed was the travel adjustment.
