The 3 pnt. lift on my 1510 moves very slow, I have tried to adjust the valve under the seat but it is stuck. Is this the correct valve for adjustment? Where can I get a replacement? What can I expect to pay?
That should be the right valve, assuming it is causing the problem, however you don't want to replace it, you want to free it up, which you would have to do to replace it anyhow. If it recently slowed down, it's probably a clogged hydraulic filter, but you still need to free that valve (WD40, Liquid Wrench, etc.).
Yanman, on my 1500D the round knob under the front of the seat is the lock valve for the 3ph. If it is closed or nearly so the lift will be slow or stopped. The down speed adjustment is the much smaller valve on the side under the seat with a lever looking handle. My round handle valve turns easy and is just over three turns from open to close. Wally
The movement is very slow going down. On the lifting side it is pretty quick. The problem started when I had to replace the transmission cover in which the valve is located. I got a used cover with the valve and all included. The old valve was easily adjustable, but this one seems to be stuck in position. When I replaced the cover, the old one went back to the dealer. I had broke the 3pnt. Lift lever right where it goes thru the cover.
Sure! No much room for error. Retainer nut is probubly to tight or the oil around the needle has hardened up. Plenty of WD-40 to help loosen it up and some clean oil to put it back together with. Remember have fun!/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
Attached is a scan of the knob and housing. Once again it is from a 1500D and might be maybe kinda the same. 69 looks like the part the valve stem is threaded in to.
