These features are slow on the tractor. Do ward function in the winter can be extremely slow to put the loader down.

Is this a new problem? Like has it always been fast and something happened and its just slow now?

Or is this just a general complaint that it isnt as fast as you would like and has always been that way.

Fast and slow are relative to the user, and fast and slow doesnt have a definitive meaning.

Look at the specs of the tractor in the operator/loader manual. Should give you all the specs on how long to raise, lower, dump, and curl.
Most likely rated at PTO or max RPM.

Grab a stopwatch and compare. You may indeed have a problem. Or it may be perfectly normal and just slower than you want

No its very slow. may take 15 seconds or more to put the loader back to the ground . going up seems more normal. curling is not even that bad, but putting the loader down is very slow. When its cold even, it may take several minutes to put the loader back down.

Sounds like a valve problem.. My loader will move slowly in winter for the first 20 minutes and then moves as it should. There has to be a restriction somewhere for it to take minutes to drop it and flow the hydraulic fluid back to the tank from the cylinders.

Not familiar with the model...if it has a cable joystick first make sure it's actually moving the spools all the way.

If it is, try unplugging and reseating the quick couplers.

You can also try swapping the hoses around on the valve. If the problem remains with dump and lower you have a problem downstream of the valve. If the problem moves to raise and curl...you have a valve problem

Sounds like the valve spool is not positioning itself correctly. You might try removing the cap from the end of the spool opposite the handle. Be ready for loose parts that may fall out. Try shifting the spool carefully with the tractor not running and see how it reacts and observe.
Other suggestions above are good also.

The hoses on this block are screwed in. Yeah, it seemed to me they said quite some time ago theres a check valve in there some how, and it gets corroded. I do know that recently one of the hoses running to the block, not sure which one, chafed. I changed it but when I looked in the hole in which it screwed into...........I thought it looked brown. Rusty brown. I didn't have a good light, and was in a hurry to get another hose back on it. But I didn't like the look of it. I want the inside of the hydraulics to be clean. It concerned me a little. I haven't seen this post in a little while, but when it popped up again, it reminded me and I might write the dealer later to see what they figure....

Does your loader have a float function, does it drop straight down in float?
Does the valve look like this?
What is the loader make/model number?

OK. So you have an ML106 loader it appears. It also appears you have some quick connects! That's the first place to start. It appears you also have something teed into the return to tank line, perhaps a restriction there?
Yes it does have float, does the bucket drop to the ground when floating? Check when you get back if you don't know.
