I may be the last to have come to this realization, but after reinstalling back hoe (which operated properly) I couldn't find the cause for the poor responsiveness of the front loader. It was like the hydraulics wasn't actuating it's cylinders. Checked all connections, locks and fluid level. All was as it should be. Then I decided to relax the back hoe cylinders just a tad as I recalled I had peformed a full end of limit retraction on all its cylinders just before I discovered this problem with the front loader. I couldn't find a cause for this anywhere online so I thought it worth mentioning here. By relaxing all the back hoe cylinders off of full end of limit retraction, the fluid was allowed to flow properly and the front loader resumed proper operating response. I don't know if this is by design or tolerance changes over time, but by doing this, the problem was solved.

This problem is frequently experienced when the three point is raised all the way and the hydraulic system is working against its limit. The cause is normally misadjustment of the rock shaft. It appears you've just hit upon a different way to cause the same problem with the same way to relieve the symptom.
