I have a 5210 JD and seem to have an issue with the tractor not moving unless there is a hight enough RPM. The loader and lifts all seem to be fine. Especially when it's hot I have to open the throttle to get the transmission to engage or move.

Is it a hydrostatic trans.? I‘d check the filters/ suction screen fluid level, if so equipped. May take a look at parking brake, I’ve forgotten to release it in the past.

You don't say what transmission you have if it's a regular gear transmission or the power shuttle.
Regular gear drive your clutch is likely toast.
Power shuttle it could be controls or clutch pak.

It's the power shuttle. I'll start with filters and screen.
