My MF 165 loader and linkage operate very slowly, but will still lift a good load, it has been suggested that the pump filter may be blocked. I am trying to get the lift cover off to check the pump filter, the Draft response lever and dash pot have to be removed to disconnect the control valve to get the lift cover off. I have ever been trying to get the response lever off the shaft can anyone help ? The shop manual does not mention how this is done .
