slow leak

...and here I thought I was the only one with an annoying leak. My LF tire on my BX2660 loses exactly 10 pounds a week, two weeks equal no aire left at all.

I guess tube is the next step. Do you think I should get both fronts tubed? The rears are already tubed and loaded (the best money/effort you can spend on a tractor IMHO).

I have a BX2660 with a slow leaking front tire. I no longer check the pressure prior to using because I know after a week it'll be down to 10. I've had the tire shop clean the rim and bead seal it again. If I put the wheel completely under water I can see very tiny bubbles escaping in numerous places on the rim.
All this and only 32 hours on the tractor. Dealer was no help.
I suppose a tube is the next step.

Tube installed today in the front left tire. The right side continues to hold air fine. This will be a good comparison test during the next year of operation.

My BX2350 also leaks air on left front tire. Tried taking tire off one day and couldn't budge nuts. Will try again one day but currently using portable air tank to fill it. If dealer won't replace or repair I'll tube it as I've done others before this one. Had one on a new tractor a few years ago and Barlows replaced the rim for me.

Yep, I got a tube in the front left too...right tire was always fine. Originally went flat when some crap got cought in the bead during rough brush work, never held air on it's own again. I was going to get them loaded next time I got a flat, but hasn't happened yet!

The bead seal seemed to work for a while but it's back to the old problem but the leak is slower. It can't be a coincidence that everybody has a problem with the left front, the same as mine.
Guess I'll tube it or both front tires.

I've had pretty good luck with the aerosol type Fix-a-flat stuff. I have it in a several tires that slowly leaked down. I really dislike tubes since you have to break the tire down to repair a puncture. With tubeless, even liquid filled, a plug takes care of it in a couple of minutes without even removing the wheel.

Yep, my BX2350 left front also leaks air over a few weeks and I can't find any leaks. I even put the tire in a water bucket. Dealer advised adding SLIM which fixed the concern.

Ive found some leaks are VERY very slow. underwater some can take several minutes to bubble up, and have also found some that seems to seal without the weight on them to open the 'wound'.
Very frustrating to test, but when you finally see the bubble you know you got the bugger.Thats a good feeling.

I've thought about Sliming or Fix a flating mine but logically my mind wants to think the "stuff" will settle in the middle of the tire and not distribute itself around (up the side of the tire as it rolls) to the bead and fill stem. Any explanation of how my logic is wrong? Course I will accept a bunch of "don't know how it works, but it does" as a good enough reason to try it.:)
