Hi all

Long time reader, first time poster. I have a 2003 Landini Rex and I have an issue with my hydraulic remotes. I use my tractor in my orchard with my Seppi M flail chopper a lot and something I can't figure out is my slowly responding remotes. The RPMs have to be really high to get it to budge and if I want it to move faster, I have to raise and lower the 3 pt hitch. It has plenty of power and the stats show it having a 13.8 gallon per minute rating at the remote but its so slow its silly. Its not the return, but the going out that is slow on the remote too, if that is a clue to anyone.

Im pretty new to remotes so any trouble shooting advice would be appreciated.

Thank you all so much

Mike

You might check the filters external and internal if your machine has them.

Do you know if your pump is actually pumping the rated flow.

Test using a flow meter or do the bucket test. If you can pump 1 gal in 6 sec, you have a 10 gal flow.

Is your return line fully open.

Perhaps your pump is worn and can not produce the rated flow.

Check all your QD for correct flow and operation.
