What a waste of tax payer money, must have been bored. They could have foamed the windshield or punched a hole in the cab, if it even had one, and tear gassed/peper sprayed him, etc.

They could have put a large truck in front of him. Many ,many options, but no, let's destroy the tractor, it ain't ours.

Any reason to shoot their guns...

Yes we do have red dyed Agricultural diesel. Its about 60 cents per liter, white onroad diesel is about 99 cts per liter right now.

Dutch truckers were complaining about their competitive position against the rest of Europe, so there were ideas about a purple dyed diesel for commercial traffic. They scrapped that idea because it would cost the government a lot of tax, and drive up the costs for gas stations when they had to place another pump.

the pumps on refrigerated box trucks, are allowed to run on dyed diesel, because it is reckoned as a stationary application. The truck itself has to use white diesel.

I read a lot of complaints from your side of the pond, on this website... Just dont think its any better in Europe, the burocrats need to get their taxes from all kinds of unworkable juridical constructions and taxes... Well somebody has to pay tax for all the work being done on public roads, power, etcetera, but the burocrats just invent such inefficient ways to generate those tax incomes..
