Slowing the loader?

Now I understand. Just about any machine on rough terrain is terrible when trying to operate the controls at the same time the machine is bouncing all over the place. Stiffer or more resistance in the controls helps a little but I don't think there is any good fix when the ground is rough.

What adjustments can be made to the control to slow the response down?

I use my foot throttle so sometimes I am at idle when trying to manipulate the bucket or forks.......

The response of the joystick is just not linear to me... it only takes a small amount of movement to get full speed of the cylinders....

The lift and drop of the loader is not that much of an issue, but the 'curl' and dump is very difficult to feather...

Bottom Line......

i would think that the answer as far as slowing down the loader is no. If you slow it down just like you slow down the 3pt lift on most tractors you change the flow and the pressure. This will increase the overall pressure on the system and that pressure is what trips the bypass valve. In turn this would decrease the overall lifting capacity of the loader. On my CK20 it was fast to me at first. Now i can lift the boom and curl the bucket at pto rpms and move either as fast or as slow as i need. Bottom line like the others siad is just seat time and practice /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You can purchase a restricting orifice to place in the dump circuit. It will slow that circuit only.

Some dealers have them and TSC carries swivel fitting reducers. I couldn't tell you what size you need, but if you have a Parker Hydraulics store they can tell you.
