One thing that we have found. Wet Wipes, even the ones labeled as "flushable", should NOT be flushed. They don't break down like toilet paper, and they get trapped at every turn or coupling. Then more and more get trapped. I found this out on a year old built house that was getting clogged toilets. I ran a garden hose with a blaster nozzle on the end of it up the drain-out plug. Skadoosh out ran all the wet wipes. No more wet wipes in the toilets and no clogged toilets another year later.

Even a paper towel has too much strength to it such that if it hangs up somewhere it has the strength to create a backup.

Wonder where the sewage from all the big coastal cities goes?

In the US, China or Canada?

In the US, it is sent to the ocean after being treated, sometimes. In South FLA, the greenies sued the government for putting treated waste water into the gulf stream. When I left the area, they had finished building a big well that was used to pump treated waste water deep underground.:eek: That was better than the gulf stream? REALLY?

When I flush the toilet at work, the waste is treated, usually, before being dumped into a large lake. The city I used to live in pulls its drinking water from that lake. So I would flush the toilet at work and eventually drink what I had flushed.:shocked::shocked::laughing::laughing::laughing:

In China, the waste just went down stream and into the ocean.

I have read that Victoria, CA dumps millions of gallons of waste water into the ocean each day that is sorta kinda treated. Sounds like they just filter out the larger solids.

Later,
Dan

Leaves??? Greenies like comfort. Moss does provide this. Beats TP anyday.

I like to use the cat. Very soft... and self cleaning. Can't get greener than that.
