small kubota, white smoke at start up,

ive just bought my 1st tractor and know very little about what is normal at start up. it turns over and starts ok but theres white smoke from the exaust until its warmed up a little.its a Kubota b7000.2 cylinder. its my only concern before i get it serviced etc i want to know so i dont get fed a load of crap from an agricultural mechanic,,
does any one have kwoledge on this issue??

I've always understood that temporary white smoke from exhaust was steam derived from condensation in the engine and exhaust system, which is more noticeable and likely to occur on cooler days.

It is normal to get a puff of smoke at start up , all of the diesel tractors I have had over the years do just that . It can be a puff of black or off white smoke .

Had B7100HST while back and now and than puff white smoke on start up.
Can rain etc. get into muffler,if so you may want to put can to cover opening.

While its turning over to start, that's usually unburned diesel and goes away after starting, sounds normal.

just done a filter and oil service,fuel lines bled had the injectors checked and there good and now the white smoke is gone and its running sweet,
