Small Kubotas use PTO without being on seat?

( You can get off the tractor once it's started and tilt the seat forward to use the PTO in the 540 RPM setting in the "stationary mode", e.g. for work with a post hole digger.
Haven't used the higher RPM so I don't know if this method works at that speed. )

This feature strikes me funny, as if a engine running near max rpm's to spin a PTO shaft at 540 rpm's, hooked to whatever, is any less dangerous than the same thing spinning faster.
I'll bet at 540 rpm it'll break body parts as fast as at higher speeds.

That being said, my B6100 doesn't have any seat switch, and never did. It's a great feature to have when you need it.

Of course the whole name of the game is to think, be safe, have fun, and enjoy our mighty little workhorses.
