I'm trying to work in a small insulated shed and I use this 15,000 btu propane heater. It probably has 50 hours use total. I make sure all connections tight, propane on, set dial, press/hold pilot valve & light. Release pilot valve after 30 seconds or so.
It runs normally for a couple minutes then sounds like a jet engine & flames shooting out! I quickly turn gas off. I've tried it twice, same thing. I'm guessing it has a pressure regulator that's malfunctioning.
I assume just replacement is necessary unless someone has an idea what's wrong?

Glad to hear it's ok. I was about to say check tube between orifice and burner for spider web or other seemingly insignificant bit of trash.
