Small Utility Trailer with suspension?

Harry, that's exactly what started my concern and the reason for this thread. It felt "bouncy". And....the owner did claim it to be a rebuilt motorcycle trailer.

MrJimi, I think they were 12" tires.

I've decided to pass on this one. He's asking $250 but sounded desperate to sell.

I called a junkyard to see about getting the back half of a compact truck. Guy said roughly $200 when he gets one. Add the cost of putting a tongue on it and I think that could make an inexpensive "multi-purpose" trailer.

Using an old p/u truck bed and frame has it's advantages. You can purchase one of those kits to make it into a dump trailer relatively easy. If you can find one that matches your current p/u then you also don't have to worry about carrying a spare tire for the truck and trailer. Plus if the color matches, you really got lucky! Most people prefer trailers fabricated that look like a trailer, but others realize the advantages of the usefulness of converting something.
