Do you actually have the Vermeer dealership or does Carter and Carter have it? Around $395? This is such a number that you probably meant somethings that I probably missed. You mean you have such a good used unit?, but am unable to see one on your web pages. Maybe, I missed. Ps: btw, I think only your web site can compete the web site of Agri-Supply. You both have really a lot of products on your web pages. No need to visit many pages to see the available products in the market on one web site. Yours is better than Agri-Supply's because you also give pictures. Anyway... if that price $395 (around!) is for a good used unit, we can say a new one is for around $700? Then, this must be different than the transplanter (I attached its picture), because its price I learnt today is much different than the one you are mentioning. Agree in that such small utilitarian implements would be good for hobby farmers like myself.

Yes, this looks good although it's pricey for such a small product.

Growing different vegetables is much more interesting than growing the grass.

yep if you aint in it sure wouldnt be no reason to get in it now. we use for setin tater to you best have someone on it who set before or it makes for a long day to the man walkin.

if yall are lookin for used farm equipment go to a auction watch the speculators an the folks that own it drivein the bid up but after a couple of em youll get a feel for the prices.
they got a sale in goldsboro nc 1st tuesday of the month that you can get that one row setter cheaper than 350. if need be get a 2 row an modify keep other for parts

Your best bet for the garden would be a one row planter such as the Covington or Cole Planter...Covington has recently purchased the Cole Planter name / design / etc. from the former Powell Mfg. These planters are simple and numerous seed plates are available for most any type of seed.

I just saw 5 Mechanical Transplanters and Holland Transplanters sell for less than $50 each at a local auction. They all were in above average condition.
