Our place is a bit over 2 acres, mostly lawn. I finish-mow another 5+ acres, and two or three times a Summer bushhog an acre or two. Snow here is all over the map - some years nothing, others we get dumped on. I have moved triaxle loads of crushed stone, done some digging with the FEL and use the toothbar to groom a sand volleyball court.

My B7500HST with 21HP has been just the ticket. Handy size with enough guts to do what needs done. Since buying it about 15 months ago, it has over 200 hours on it...................chim

I'll chime in on the B7500 club. I have 2.5 acres and wanted the smallest, most powerful tractor I could get (within my budget). When comparing FEL, BH and 3pt capabilities, I felt that the B7500 was the biggest bang for the buck on the smallest footprint. After owning it for a little less than a year, I have put almost 220 hours on it. I have pulled some huge stumps, moved mountains of dirt, chipped about 30 yards of mulch, built a 200 foot rock wall, done several logging/firewood projects with it and am in the process of helping a neighbor install a pond right now. The use my tractor has had has been borderline abuse, and it has never even whimpered. Would I like more power at times?.... sure, but my little B7500 has always seemed to get the job done, and in many cases can do it better because of the smaller footprint. I think the most important thing is to buy for what you will be doing 80% of the time and chances are your machine will be able to get by on the other 20%. Good luck in you search. Hope this helps.
