This was from earlier this spring, it is the view from my barn. As you can see I had some fence repair and painting to do!

Some people view them as Bambi, I see them as rather large brown rats! They have been coming to our place all summer and now that the peaches are almost ready to eat they are coming closer each day.
this morning they were in the sweet corn so I have always said corn feed deer are the best eating ones.
Wife would never let me shoot one this close to the house.
So we decided to pick some of the peaches before they got them, canned 21 quarts of them yesterday
and they are about half gone so we will have some to eat still and do some more canning later.

Here Jane and I call them dinner. All we eat for meat is venison. Jane saw a small buck in velvet walk in the back yard the other day. She looked over to me and said Yum hamburger.

Wayne, we always killed more deer in the pea patch than in the tree stand. {hope the rabbit sheriff isn't listening} When I was truck farming, they were taking money out of my pocket.
